Dr. Parks was born and raised one the west side of Cincinnati. She attended Xavier University for her undergraduate degree where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Natural Science. She completed her medical education at University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. She then moved to Louisville, Kentucky to complete her pediatric residency at Kosair Children's Hospital.
After completing her residency program, she moved back to Cincinnati and joined ESD Pediatric Group in 1996. Dr. Parks is the Secretary of ESD Pediatric Group. She can be found caring for children of all ages at the Hyde Park office.
Dr. Parks is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a member of the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) and the Clermont County Medical Society.
Her current interests include physician resident teaching, the care of chronic diseases and promoting the overall health and well-being of children. Dr. Parks is also on staff at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and routinely rounds on patients admitted to the hospital for medical issues.
Dr. Parks is married to her husband, Ken. They have two children, Cory and Sarah, and reside in the White Oak area. In her spare time, when Dr. Parks is not chauffeuring her children to various sports and scouting events, she enjoys outdoor activities with her family, relaxing poolside, playing the piano, boating, and reading.
