Nurse Practitioner Kelly Johnson is a Cincinnati native. She grew up on the West Side of Cincinnati. In 1996 she graduated Valedictorian from Colerain High School. She was a scholar student at Xavier University and completed her B.S. degree in Natural Sciences in 2000. Thereafter, she began her nursing education at the University of Cincinnati. Kelly completed her B.S.N. via the accelerated program in 2002. She worked on the adolescent medical-surgical floor at Cincinnati Children's hospital for 5 years. While working full-time she pursued her masters of nursing education. Graduating at the top of her class, she was awarded her M.S.N. in 2007. The majority of her clinical training occurred in a large pediatric practice in Northern Kentucky. She is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner from the ANCC. Shortly after passing her certification exam, Kelly became the first nurse practitioner to join ESD in 2007. She commonly works at the Milford office but sometimes can be found at the Hyde Park office.
Kelly is a member of National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. In addition, she is PALS certified.
Kelly continues to live in the Colerain area with her two dogs, Max and Gracie. While not working to improve the health of children, she enjoys attending sporting events, movies, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
