Dr. Krishnan was born and raised in Bombay, India. She attended the University of Bombay, Bombay, India for her undergraduate and medical degrees where she graduated first in her class. She completed pediatric residency and was board certified in pediatrics at the University of Bombay. While in India, Dr. Krishnan published several articles for Indian Practitioner. She moved to the United States in 1989. She completed another pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey.
After completing her residency program, she relocated to Cincinnati where she was a staff physician for five years in the Division of Emergency Medicine at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
In 1997, Dr. Krishnan accepted a position in private practice with ESD Pediatric Group. Currently, she practices primarily at the Milford office. She is a Vice President of the practice.
Dr. Krishnan is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Her current interests include acute care pediatrics, the care of chronic diseases and promoting the overall health of children.
Dr. Krishnan is married to her husband, Rod. They have two teenage children, Neil and Shawn, and reside in Blue Ash. Dr. Krishnan enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, reading, listening to music and watching reality TV.
