Hospital Privileges

Newborns

Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to see our newborns in the hospital due to the large number of hospitals in which our future patients are born. While still in the hospital, our patients are seen by a neonatologist (infant specialist) working for Newborn Care Associates. They will inform us of any problems that they encounter. If you have any concerns while at the birth hospital, you can call our office and one of our physicians can consult via the phone.

We prefer to see our newborns in the office approximately 2 days after hospital discharge or approximately one week of life if there has been a home health nurse visit shortly after hospital discharge. We recommend that you call the office as soon as possible after delivery to make this appointment.

Pediatric Inpatient Care

Cincinnati Children's Hospital is our hospital of choice for ill or injured children. All of the members of our group are active Staff Pediatricians at this hospital, and should your child need to be hospitalized, one of our doctors will see your child daily while there.

Our office has direct access to Children's Laboratory Services. Most of our outpatient lab work is done through daily office pick up or visits to Children's Satellite locations or the Test Referral Center in the main hospital in Clifton.
