Phone Calls and Advice
Our phone staff is available 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday at both offices and Saturday at the Milford location during office hours. Please be prepared to give the phone operator the following information:
- your child's age
- symptoms
- temperature
- length of illness
- primary office
If the problem requires a doctor's attention, he or she will return your call at the earliest opportunity or our phone staff will call you back after the doctor reviews your chart and answers your concern.
For non-emergent advice or information, call mid to late-morning or early to mid-afternoon Tuesday through Friday when our phone lines are less busy.
We also offer the ability for you to ask questions via email. Non-urgent questions can be sent via ESD Patient Portal. Our goal is to respond to these emails within 24 hours.
Telephone calls after hours are for urgent problems only. The on call doctor can be reached through the answering service by calling our regular office number (either 513-248-1210 or 513-533-6100). After the office is closed, these numbers are forwarded to the answering service. If the concern is not an emergency, we request that it be taken care of during regular business hours. Our calls are not screened by the answering service and therefore, all calls will be referred to the doctor at home.
If you have not heard from us within a reasonable time frame, please call back.
