Mary Compton, FNP-C

Nurse practitioner Mary grew up in Cincinnati. She attended Milford High School, and then moved on to the University of Cincinnati. Mary started her nursing career at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital working it both the operating room and the postanesthesia care unit. She completed her Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Cincinnati. Mary previously worked at a school based clinic providing primary care to all ages before realizing that pediatrics was what she really loved. She joined ESD Pediatric Group in the later half of 2024.

Mary is known for her compassionate approach to care and her commitment to serving families with kindness and respect. She sees her work as both a calling and a privilege. She coauthored a publication in Advance Healthcare Network for NPs and Pas on the impact of secondhand smoke on children, titled “Advocating Through Education.”

She currently lives in Milford with her husband who was her high school sweetheart and is the proud mom of 4 sons and grandmother to 5 grandsons. Her husband and 3 of her sons have served in the military, helping to shape her deep respect for service and community.

Mary sees patients at the Milford location primarily but can be found at the Hyde Park location occasionally. She is board-certified by the AANP.
